ChristmasAdopt a Family or Senior for Christmas

Our Annual County-Wide Adopt a Family program insures that hundreds of seniors and over 1000 Christian County children will have a joyful Christmas.  For most, this is the only Christmas they will have. There are many creative ideas to make this a rewarding experience for donors and recipients:

  • Request that the children be the same ages as your own children so they can enjoy shopping for their adopted family and learn about sharing with the less fortunate.
  • Instead of a secret Santa or gift exchange at the office or a large family gathering, have each person adopt one child and buy their gifts instead.
  •  Organize your club, team, organization to adopt families from your area.
  • Businesses can put up an Angel/Giving tree with the wish list items of several families so that employees and/or customers can select or sign up to buy specific items to purchase and your business can collect and deliver to the family or Least Of These.
  • For that person on your Christmas list that has everything….adopt a family or senior in their name.

    • We will provide you with an actual family’s wish list and the reason they have applied for help.
    • You can talk to the family or remain anonymous .
    • You can choose the number of children or seniors you are willing to help.
    • You can choose the city where the family lives.
    • Or, you can make a donation to the program and Least Of These will fill a family’s wish list on your behalf.
