How To Apply

Applications for food assistance are taken on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, between 8am and 11am.  We give a supplemental supply of food, once a month, to help stretch your food budget or food stamps, with ingredients to help make a meal.
No appointment needed for your first visit.  Plan on about 1 hour.
You will need to bring:

  • Social Security cards for all members of your household
  • A photo I.D.
  • Proof of Christian county residency (current utility bill, food stamp letter)

After an application is filled out, you will receive food, personal care items, and cleaning supplies, that day along with an appointment for the next month.
You will receive a clothing room pass for 30 minutes of free shopping for your immediate family.
Evening hour appointments are available on the first Wednesday of each month (4-6pm)
We offer monthly coupon classes, referral information to other community resources, holiday programs, resume and budgeting help.
